Year 1 and Year 2
All Health Science tracks have the same starting sequence of courses:
- Year 1: Health Science I
- Year 2: Health Science II
Certified Nurse Assistant
The Nursing Assistant program provides students with the knowledge and skills required for entry into the healthcare field. Students completing the didactic and clinical practicum are eligible for the Nevada State of Nursing Certifying exam as a Nursing Assistant. The final semester is completed at College of Southern Nevada for dual credit.

Medical Assisting
The Medical Assisting program provides students with the knowledge and skills required for entry level into administrative and clinical medical assisting. Areas of study include diversity, awareness, pharmacology, health information management, and laboratory procedures.
